Whether you are planning a company outing, a department celebration, a nonprofit volunteer day, or any other group gathering, our certified instructors tailor the experience to your goals. No climbing experience required. All skill levels are welcome.
Two Ways to Structure Your Event
Climbing Only
Your group gets geared up and climbs with our staff belayers supporting them throughout. Great for groups that want action and energy without a structured lesson component.
Learn the Ropes Course
A guided instruction session covering climbing fundamentals, rope management, and trust-based partner communication. Ideal for team building with a clear learning arc. Available at Manassas for ages 13+.
Intro to Bouldering
Whether you are just getting into the sport of climbing or simply looking to advance your skills in climbing, Intro to Bouldering will offer you the skills necessary to take your climbing to the next level. Available at Tysons.

How It Works
1. Choose Your Format
Decide between a climbing-only session or the Learn the Ropes course. We will tailor it to your group's size and goals.
2. Book Your Date
Pick Manassas or Tysons and secure your slot. Available any day of the week, including evenings.
3.Arrive and Gear Up
We fit everyone with harnesses and shoes and walk through a safety overview before the session starts.
4.Climb Together
Instructors and belayers support your group throughout the full session, adjusting the challenge for each person.

Does our group need any climbing experience?
No prior experience needed. Our instructors provide a full safety and skills briefing before the session and adjust the challenge level based on your group's comfort throughout the event.
Can we choose between a structured lesson and free climbing?
Yes. At Manassas you can choose between the guided Learn the Ropes course or a supervised climbing-only session. At Tysons you can opt into or out of the guided intro depending on what your group prefers.
Is there a minimum group size?
The minimum booking is 10 climbers at both locations. We regularly accommodate groups of 50 or more. Contact us to discuss logistics for larger events.
Can we book outside regular gym hours?
Yes, private and after-hours events are available. Email info@climb-va.com to discuss scheduling and any special requirements your group has.
What if some team members have physical limitations?
