Kid & Teen Birthday Parties
Celebrate your favorite climber with a fun and memorable group climbing experience. Our experienced instructors provide the essential safety gear and guidance to help participants enjoy their time on the walls. Bring your friends and family together for an adventure, then enjoy food, cake, and presents as part of your celebration.

Our instructors help create an experience tailored to your group’s needs, whether you’re looking to build trust and interaction, try something new, or simply have a great time climbing together. No prior climbing experience is required.

Lock-Ins
Have the gym to yourself for an evening of climbing, games, and fun! A Vertical Rock lock-in is a great way to bring your group together for a memorable experience. Our staff will be on-site throughout the event to assist with your group’s needs, and participants can enjoy climbing and other activities during their time at the gym.

Scout Merit Badge
No prior climbing knowledge required! Merit badge participants will learn the required materials to earn the climbing merit badge through a course taught by a Merit Badge Counselor. This event is available for ages 11+. We also offer Partial Merit Badges.

Girl Scouting Climbing Programs
Vertical Rock is proud to support Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, and other groups with fun, empowering introductory climbing experiences. Our programs are designed to build confidence, teamwork, and a love for adventure in a safe and supportive environment. The experience also supports badge-earning opportunities and helps participants develop lifelong skills.

Birthday Parties
This Bouldering experience is the perfect way to celebrate your favorite climber. The group can Boulder and hang out all day!
VR Tysons does not have a party room, but we are perfectly located next to Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle and Kura Revolving Sushi! The main floor of VR Tysons is our Basecamp Coffee Roasters and everyone is welcome to grab a table and bring cake or whatever you would like!
Shoes are included with your party package (based on availability)
