Overnight Climbing Lock-Ins in Northern Virginia

Have the entire gym to yourself for a full night of climbing, games, and memories. Available any day of the week.

Your Group. The Whole Gym. All Night.

A Vertical Rock lock-in gives your group exclusive access to our full facility for an entire evening. No other guests, no time pressure. Just your crew on the walls, with Vertical Rock staff on-site the whole time to support you. Lock-ins are available any day of the week and work for a wide range of youth organizations, school groups, and community gatherings across Northern Virginia.

Built Around Your Group's Age

At our Manassas location, the program is designed with two age-appropriate paths so every participant gets the right experience from the start.

Ages 13 and Up

The evening begins with a free Learn the Ropes intro course covering all safety protocols and rope techniques. Once completed, participants can climb independently for the rest of the night without needing an instructor present for every climb.

Ages 12 and Under

The first two hours are a guided group event where our staff belay the group on roped walls. For the rest of the evening, the bouldering wall is open and participants can bring games, order pizza, and enjoy the space at their own pace.
